Laura Sant is a Richmond-based illustrator and designer specializing in food and drink illustration for editorial, publishing, packaging, and surface pattern design.

Her work draws on two decades of experience as a designer and writer, her culinary background as a trained pastry cook, and years spent working as a food editor.

Laura’s art and writing have appeared in publications like Saveur, Departures, Travel & Leisure, and Liquor.com, and her illustrations are featured on puzzles, greeting cards, maps, and fabric. Her work features bright color palettes, hand lettering, and designs that pay homage to the cities she’s called home over the years, including Richmond, Chicago, and New York City.

She lives in Richmond, Virginia, with her husband, her son, and three cats, occasionally joined by a litter of foster kittens.
